$2.5 Million From Surgery Center for Overheated Saline Burns

DuPage County, IL: Lane Brown, LLC attorneys Scott D. Lane and Nicholas J. Kamenjarin obtained a $2,500,000 settlement on behalf of our client.

A 60-year-old man suffered thermal injuries to his bladder and urethra when overheated saline was used during a surgical procedure. The Chicagoland surgery center where the procedure took place paid $2,500,000.

This recovery is in addition to a previously obtained $1,450,000 settlement with the surgeon and his medical group in the same case.
