$2 Million for Student Abused by Her Junior High Teacher

Will County, IL: Lane Brown, LLC attorneys Mark A. Brown and Noah A. Brown, working alongside co-counsel, obtained a $2,000,000 settlement on behalf of our client.

A young woman, now 22, alleged that she was groomed and sexually molested multiple times by her teacher when she was a sixth- and seventh-grade student at a suburban junior high school. The abuse occurred primarily on school grounds and during school-related activities.

A confidential school district paid the settlement following mediation. The claim was resolved without a lawsuit being filed.
