$500,000 for Family Hurt in a Rear-End Collision

Cook County, IL: Lane Brown, LLC attorneys Scott D. Lane and Nicholas J. Kamenjarin obtained a $500,000 settlement on behalf of our clients.

On November 30, 2019, a 48-year-old driver and her two passengers, ages 71 and 11, were in a vehicle that was rear-ended. The driver and the 11-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. The 71-year-old passenger’s arm struck the door during the collision, aggravating a preexisting degenerative condition in her shoulder. Her physician recommended a total shoulder replacement, which she likely will not have because of the extensive rehabilitation the procedure requires.

The at-fault driver and Peloton Interactive, Inc. paid the settlement on behalf of all three clients.
